181211 - LSS200 Test Content (cropped) README

This content is only to be used with LSS firmware version 181213 or later. 

This test content has two copies of the white flash script start sequence. The LSS firmware compares the
results of the received white flash sequences and starts the script only if they match. This eliminates 
the very occasional false script start that may occur with normal content playback.

This content also corrects the color of the white rectangle on the screen that is used for luminance and
chromaticity measurement.

Each piece of test content includes the white flash start sequence (two times) and the appropriate test
image and sound for the default scripts included in the LSS. Minor edits of the LSS scripts will be required
to set the limits on SPL measurements for the particular auditorium. Typically a test run of the content is run,
the log reviewed for measurement results, and the script adjusted to set the minimum and maximum 3 dB below and
above the measured value.

In addition, lines may need to be commented out (started with '#') for use in a 5.1 auditorium. The test content
is 7.1. The test content and scripts can be used in 5.1 auditoriums by commenting out the captue commands for
the rear surround speakers.

Finally, the log post commands may need to be modified to post to another server or be commented out if no
log post server is used.
