Sec. 90.350 Scope.
The Intelligent Transportation Systems radio service is for the purpose of
integrating radio-based technologies into the nation's transportation
infrastructure and to develop and implement the nation's intelligent
transportation systems. It includes the Location and Monitoring Service
(LMS) and Dedicated Short Range Communications Service (DSRCS). Rules as to
eligibility for licensing, frequencies available, and any special
requirements for services in the Intelligent Transportation Systems radio
service are set forth in this subpart.
